Following last year’s very successful visit by our friends from Kempen, we have been invited to take part in their Burgsprint competition this year – on Saturday 7th June.
For those new members, or anyone who hasn’t taken part in this event in past years, it is a big regional competition, involving 16 German teams in an open air Olympic sized pool.
We are accommodated by families in Kempen, many members will stay with families they have already met through previous visits. All new families wanting to make the trip will be found families to accommodate them.
This is a very enjoyable trip, and many members have been year after year and have forged great friendships as a result.
We will be leaving early on Friday 6th June, and arriving back in the UK on Sunday 8th June. Travel will be by coach and ferry.
Could all members please return the slip on the attached letter to a member of the committee as soon as possible so we can organise travel and accomodation. I would encourage all members to take part as this is a great opportunity to swim in Kempen's fabulous facilities.
