Training & swimming development
We grade our swimmers by age, ability and commitment to training.   Swimmers will be expected to swim at least the minimum hours shown for that group.   Movement of swimmers between groups will be at the discretion of the coach and administered by the committee

Recommended training

JUNIOR           210 Minutes / 3.5 hrs
INTERMEDIATE 270 Minutes / 4.5 hrs
SENIOR 390 Minutes / 6.5hrs

The club encourages parents to view training sessions but parental coaching and talking to the swimmers while they are on poolside is not acceptable.   If any parent wishes to assist on poolside, they will be very welcome and appropriate training will be given.   Poolside helpers shall be governed by the Club's ASA Child Protection Policy.   Police checks shall be conducted on all poolside helpers/minders.
